In the summer of 2005 the Boston Red Sox contacted Signs Unique to add a hand painted 9' x 9' Red Sox Logo on the street side of the right field roof. Here's how we made it.

First we made a full size paper pattern from
the original artwork provided by the Red Sox.
The pattern was then carefully positioned in
place and transferred to the wall by pouncing
it with loose chalk.

Here wall-dog Patrick O'Neill finishes priming the overall shape. We used a tinted primer to preserve the vibrancy of the Red Sox red.

| We pounced the pattern a second time to get the details of the artwork in place for the finish work. Here we painted the white details.

Then we broke out the Red Sox red. A variety of brushes and rollers were employed, and several coats of both colors are used to get the desired coverage.

| Here's the final wall image. Take a look next time you're at the park. The 9' x 9' logo is situated on the back of the right field wall (the Budweiser food court) and can be seen as you look over Gate "B."
